What is Social Selling? The term “social selling” became well known in modern times and is becoming an increasingly famous buzzword. However, “social selling” can mean different things to different social groups. Its unifying characteristic is that it is a marketing strategy through an approach, such as the use of social media to interact directly with their prospective customers and eventually convert them into loyal ones. It results in attracting and retaining customers. The phrase is commonly linked to the use of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms. It is a modern day resource for businesses to build relationships and nurture existing relationships thereby increasing efficiency of selling their products and services to customers.

Social selling can also generate awareness from influential people about what your client base wants. In addition, it can help open the doors to other opportunities with trusted partners and industry leaders who sell large with higher closing rates.

Social selling means a lot of things. Its main strength is that it provides opportunity to businesses, an opportunity to communicate directly with their customers and engage quality conversation in order to improve the goods and services they are selling.
